ARC Review: Bad Blood by Alisha Tanner

Run, don't walk to get a copy of this book! 

I was honored to receive an ARC of Bad Blood by Alisha Tanner. I am blessed and cursed because I could read it early and dive into this world, but I still have so many questions and now need book two. 

Bad Blood is a suspenseful whirlwind between the life of renowned Dr. Brighton Fields and the Blakely brothers, who find themselves in her care. With malpractice suits, earth-shattering diagnoses, murder, and a hint of romance, this book will have you speeding home to read it.

It has been a while since I have physically been on the edge of my seat while reading a book. But this one really had that pull. I was huffing, pacing, and theorizing with my fiancé between chapters, I was so utterly entertained. I finished the book days ago, and I am still trying to piece things together. 

The writing and character development were fantastic. The dashes of humor in difficult moments were well-placed, as were the chapter breaks. Everything in this book was so well done that I've been raving about it to all of my friends, readers and not, just so that they know what they're missing. 

To avoid spoiling anything in this book for anyone, I am ending my review with this: Thrilling, shocking, emotional, tense, sexy, you name it, this book has it, and if it doesn't, I'm sure the next will. Leaving you on your toes the entire read, you will want to clear your schedule to get this book in. Due to the sheer suspense of it, the pull I had to this novel, and never-ending thoughts of what will come next, I am rating Bad Blood 5 out of 5 stars with a 2 for spice.
